EDITORIAL POLICY
How pages on this site are written and checked.
Every indexable page on cloudy.family follows the same rules: answer the question first, cite primary sources for checkable claims, date what can change, disclose who wrote it, and say plainly what Cloudy cannot do.
Sources and check dates
Claims about other companies’ products — features, plans, and prices — are taken from those companies’ official pages and support articles, and each comparison page shows the date its facts were checked and links to the sources. When facts change, the page is updated and the checked date moves.
Comparisons disclose authorship
Comparison pages on this site are written by Cloudy and say so on the page. They state when a competitor is the better fit, link to the competitor’s official pages, and note that trademarks belong to their owners. See the Huckleberry comparison for the format.
Product claims match what is represented
Pages describe only the capabilities represented on this site. “Free” always means free during early access — never a permanent free tier unless one is actually announced. Capabilities Cloudy does not have are stated as limitations rather than implied.
Examples are synthetic
Conversations, families, names, and records shown on this site are invented illustrations. No private family data, messages, or records are reused as marketing evidence.
Not medical content
Guides on this site are product-selection and coordination guidance. They are not medical advice, are not clinically reviewed, and do not contain care schedules or individualized recommendations. For health questions, talk to your pediatrician; primary clinical sources such as the AAP’s HealthyChildren.org are linked where relevant.
Corrections
If a fact on this site is wrong or out of date — including our claims about another company’s product — we want to fix it. Reach us through the paths on the support page and the correction will be reviewed against the same sources that produced the original claim.
