How a text becomes a record

You do not fill out a form. You text what happened, the way you would text your partner, and Cloudy files it under your child’s record.

Corrections are just another text

Parents log from tired brains and full hands, so corrections are part of the design. Say “actually it was 4 oz” or “that diaper was at 10, not 9:30” in the same conversation and Cloudy updates the record — visible to everyone in the chat, so nobody coordinates around a mistake.

A shared summary instead of a debrief

Ask “how was Milo’s morning?” and Cloudy answers from the record — feeds, diapers, and when the next one is roughly due — so the parent who was asleep, or the grandparent who just arrived, starts from the same facts instead of a reconstruction.

Reminders around the record

The same assistant that logs the care also keeps the appointments and nudges that go with it: a pediatrician visit tomorrow at 10, a reminder to both parents, the questions you wanted to ask kept in the chat. That is the difference between a tracker and a family assistant.

What Cloudy does not assume

• A gap in the log is a gap in the log — not proof that a feed or nap did not happen. Records only include what someone actually reported.
• Ambiguous messages get a clarifying question, not a guess. If a text could mean two things, Cloudy asks before writing it down.
• No diagnosis, no pattern-based medical claims, and no sleep prediction. Cloudy records what happened; it does not tell you what is normal for your child. For anything medical, ask your pediatrician.

Your record, your controls

Your family’s data runs on a dedicated virtual machine with encrypted connections and storage, and you can request an export or deletion of your family records at any time. The privacy page explains the details, including what connected services can access.
